Throughout all thr books, even though he has matured and grown into his powers, he remained the same caring person who only wants to protect those he cares for. He is an enigmatic and exciting characterThe story is fast paced and very entertaining. I consider the day, I discovered the writings of Holmberg. as one my the best.

Love DK Holmberg books. Once you start a series you can't wait to get the next book. And DK is great at keeping the books coming...you don't have to wait for over a year to get the next book!

I'm glad that I got to go through this amazing journey with all the characters of this book. It was an amazing read. Great characters and character development. I'm sad to no longer have any more adventures with them.
Was not a satisfying conclusion to this set of stories. I was hoping for much more. The Dark Ability storyline always left you wanting more, at the edge of your seat ready to see how our heros handled every new crisis or opponent thrown in their path. Many questions were poorly answered in a tidy sum. Almost seemed as if The author ran out of story and just ended in the next 3 pages.
The character's are great you will love some and hate some be annoyed by some and if your like me you will cry now and then.
This is a great series. The only problem that I had in reading it was the fact that there was a lot of repitition in the writing. One should not have to repeat the details of book 1 in book 2 etc. A reader should know that they need to read book 1 before proceeding to book 2.
Happy to see a good ending to the adventures of Rsiran. Enjoyed how the main character evolved throughout the series, and matured quite a bit along the way. The story weaving around the 5 crystals was solid, with we'll rounded characters. I think I might give a shot to the series dedicated to Carth. She proved quite the intriguing character as well!
